FINDING THE WELLNESS SPACE IN YOUR HOME

FINDING THE WELLNESS SPACE IN YOUR HOME

Feeling down on earth? Then set that tone by adding nature directly into your living space. Here are some of our favourite ways that you can recreate natural elements in your home:

THE COLOUR THERAPY WE NEED:

Earthy tones can be the most satisfactory colour therapy after you get home from a long and active day. An earthy tone is a shade, hue or tone that is commonly celebrated in nature. It could consist of the oranges, reds and olives from the richness of vegetation or the blues, whites and browns touched by the tranquillity of the ocean beads. It is as easy to transform the feeling within your sanctuary as the seasons change annually!

ADDING ORGANIC SHAPES FOR A SENSE OF SERENITY:

Create a feeling of flow and serenity to any room by adding organic shapes and figures to quieten sharp lines. Organic shapes are usually irregular, unpredictable and often mimic objects in nature such as leaves, stones, trees, people and wildlife.

INSPIRE YOUR SENSES WITH TEXTURE:

Adding texture is easy and will inspire and stimulate your senses by making a room feel more intimate and grounded. Consider mixing 2-3 different materials, this could be a sanded down wood finishing, a textured handwoven rug or a statement terracotta ceramic.

ADD A GREEN TOUCH
Talk about bringing the outdoors in. Houseplants offer beauty and connection to nature but not only will the added greenery make a room feel relaxed and lighter but it will aid in better air quality and improved mental health.

OUR FAVOURITE LUSH BEAUTY TO SPRUCE UP ANY SPACE:

The Might Fiddle Leaf

A purifying powerhouse. These plants are native to Africa and can withstand a less-than-perfect environment. Just prepare to rotate your Fiddle Leaf every few days because they demand bright and filtered light to look their best.
